About Us

San Francisco is a city built around creativity yet many of its artists lack outlets for their work, and too many of its citizens lack access to the Arts, so The XXIVth Hour has embarked on a journey to bring them together. By providing performance and gallery space, along with mentoring, we can keep up-and-coming artists active and the Arts alive. We believe this is a do or die situation; it is the 24th hour but it’s not too late, yet.
The Arts are the best insurance policy a city can take on itself.
— Woody Dumas, former Mayor of Baton Rouge
OUR MISSION: Faced with a dwindling Bay Area Art Scene due to closing venues and underpaid artists, we are stepping in to reverse this trend and empower artists to stay by recreating 19th-century styled art and music salons that will provide much needed commercial exposure and consistently fair pay.

OUR VISION: The XXIVth Hour was founded on a passion for saving the local Art Scene; we are determined to provide dynamic venues where a wide spectrum of artists can inspire a new wave of 21st-century patrons as well as expose underprivileged youths to the Arts.

OUR GOAL: We believe bridges can be built between the patrons and artists, allowing the city to experience a renaissance benefitting all of us. The Arts are still at the forefront of the Bay Area zeitgeist and we want to give working artists an outlet and the means to support themselves.
